Westech Solar UK was established as the representative of the Perlight Solar factory in the UK & EU. Our mission is to provide a reliable, high-quality range of solar products and a high standard of custom-made solutions to the local market. We supply premium quality solar products to be used in all applications; residential, commercial, industrial, and utility-scale projects.
Perlight Solar, a subsidiary of the Baolite Group, is a leading photovoltaic solar cell and module manufacturer, with a strong commitment to environmental sustainability.
In 2016 we partnered with Silicon Valley technology company Tigo Energy to add Tigo’s highly advanced junction box to all Perlight PV module series. We also provide the full range of Tigo products throughout the UK and Europe.
Founded in 2007, Tigo pioneered the flexible module-level power electronics (Flex MLPE) architecture. Tigo’s technology enables PV modules not only to be smarter and safer but also to improve performance under shaded conditions. Smart PV systems offer benefits to end-users and operators.
Since 2020, we’re an official supplier of Project EV car chargers; a smart and affordable range of solar compatible electric vehicle chargers for home and business use.
Project EV offers market-leading solutions for the future of homes with ever-increasing EV charger requirements, and for Charge Point Operators looking for a high-specification charging range, which is sleekly designed and suitable for all types of locations. UK based training and support are available for operators and installers.

The SA8000® Certificate guarantees an internationally recognised standard of decent work. It confirms that the production of Perlight panels doesn’t use child- or forced labour, provides safe and healthy working conditions and a fair wage, and it is free from discrimination, disciplinary practices, and extreme working hours.
