Tigo is a global leader in Flex MLPE. Their innovative TS4 platform enables customised functionality and continues to have the lowest failure rates in the industry. From single kilowatt residential rooftop installations to multi-megawatt power plant installations, we can help you to procure this technology at any scale.
Tigo solutions can be retrofitted to existing solar installations or applied to new ones, and only a few main components are required to unlock some of the key benefits:
Efficiency Optimisation and ROI Maximisation
The optimisation function allows for maximum energy output by minimising losses from shading, degradation, module mismatch and other issues.
Selective deployment on a shaded solar panel, for example, will ensure that the panel no longer holds back the performance of neighbouring panels, increasing energy yield and delivering a faster return on investment.
The Energy Reclaim feature in the Tigo Monitoring Portal illustrates the efficiency of this component by allowing the user to view total energy reclaimed by month, day or hour and energy reclaimed by each panel on a minute-by-minute basis.
Module Level Monitoring to Enable Complete Visibility
Tigo gives the user detailed visibility into module-level operations to assess performance characteristics, diagnose issues, and ensure that the PV system is operating at its best. It can be configured to notify the user when the system goes offline or there is a potential issue, and it relies on both real-time and historical data of each individual module in order to identify how this issue might have occurred.
The system can be monitored through a mobile device, using Tigo’s SMART app, and even by asking Alexa, the cloud-based voice service by Amazon.
Fire Safety Protection and Compliance
Tigo’s fire safety solutions are completely dedicated to rapid shutdown functionality in order to enhance safety and meet international standards.
When Rapid Shutdown is activated, the voltage across conductors drops to below 0.6V & 0A within 10 seconds, ensuring the safety of first responders, who can perform their work safely without encountering high-voltage DC electricity from solar components.
The latest Tigo TS4 delivers fire safety support for industry-leading solar modules of up to 700-watts, the highest power solar modules on the market today.
Whether a site requires module-level visibility, fire safety compliance, or to reduce the impact from shading, Tigo has all of the bases covered. Their features can be mixed and matched in order to maximise the benefit for any given solar installation, which is why the products are considered the most reliable and flexible in the industry.
