To begin, create a free account and login. Once you have successfully logged in, start a “New Project”. You will be asked to provide a unique project name which will serve as a reference for tracking purposes.
Make sure to fill in the specified fields with the correct delivery information. After, click the “Create Project” button to begin designing.
Ensure accuracy by inputting roof dimensions (width and height) and selecting roof tile type. Both dimensions are mandatory for precise solar panel calculations.
After input, choose roof tile type by clicking on the provided images. Finally, click “Start Design” to initiate the process tailored to your roof’s specifics.
Upon accessing the Roof Design Page, view your roof with entered width and length values.
To adjust dimensions, click on the red circles at each corner of the roof. This allows precise customization by modifying the roof size as needed.
Add solar panels by clicking and dragging them onto the roof. You can also activate the Autofill feature and select “show flashing”.
Note, that this feature does not optimise panel placement and works with rectangular or square panels. Exercise discretion. To remove panels, double-click on them or click the “Clear roof” icon.
Autofill is an efficient tool that assists in panel placement by filling up the users area automatically, saving designing time.
This function allows users to easily customise the shape of the autofill area by adjusting the width and height dimensions. Populate panels inside this space by clicking on the icon next to “Autofill”.
Implement the Copy Roof function, tailored specifically for property developers managing multiple buildings with identical roof dimensions.
Once a roof design is created for one building, this function allows developers to duplicate the design as a template for constructing roofs across multiple buildings within a portfolio.
The PDF report will include a screenshot featuring the completed roof and panel design. To capture this screenshot, users can click on the red icon situated at the bottom left corner of the operation space.
Before taking the screenshot, users can adjust the position and size of the roof for optimal image capture.
Clicking the “Overview” button directs you to the price quotation page, offering a detailed summary of all roof designs.
Presented in a table format, it includes part code, description, unit, and quantity. The top left table displays summary statistics on total roof units, panels, and kWp across all roofs.
After finalising your design, click on “Review and Order”. On the “Shipping Address” page, fill in these fields with your delivery information for seamless order submission.
Select your preferred shipping method from the options of AM, PM, or Next working day (Monday to Friday). Finally, click “Request a quote” and one of our team members will contact you shortly.
