More than 10,000 visitors attended Solar & Storage Live 2022 between 18-20 October, and we were excited to see how busy the whole renewables industry was.
It was great to catch up with old and new customers who stopped by our stand. We had a wonderful time talking with so many of them!
The show has also been a fantastic opportunity to display and talk about our latest products.
Perlight IRT
At the Westech stand, we have been showcasing our Integrated Roof Tiles, the Perlight IRT.
The IRT is directly mounted on the roof, and functions as a solar panel and a weathertight roof tile at the same time. It is designed to be installed quickly and easily as the frames simply interlock with each other to create a waterproof connection.
With a small display roof over our stand, visitors could see how the IRT looks on an actual roof, and how seamlessly it blends in with the tiles.
On the ground-level demo roof, installers could get a glimpse of the Perlight IRT installation process, and see the interlocking design in action.
The Integrated Roof Tiles have received a lot of interest and positive feedback from our stand visitors.
As in-roof systems are now more in-demand by homeowners and housing developers, the IRT provides a slim, lightweight, and easy-to-install alternative to the current roof-integrated panels on the market.
Perlight Delta
We also displayed the all-black Perlight Delta 440W, our biggest and most powerful PV module so far. This is the slightly taller version of our standard panel size, the Perlight Delta 415W.
Unlike most panels that use multiple busbars, the Delta panels are made with a busbar-less design. Removing busbars results in high efficiency, better performance in shade, and beautiful, sleek aesthetics.
The Perllight Delta series offers a more elegant and high-end option for people who don’t like the look of traditional solar panels. With a nice installation, the all-black Delta panels can even enhance the aesthetics of a house without having to compromise on power output and efficiency.
Project EV
This year we shared our stand with our partner, Project EV, who were displaying their range of innovative AC & DC chargers.

Solar & Storage Live is the UK’s largest renewable energy exhibition. It takes place over 3 days and it attracts visitors from the industry from all around the world. The 2022 show attracted more than 10,000 people, and next year’s exhibition is expected to double in size.
Westech has been a regular exhibitor at Solar & Storage since its very beginning. We’ll also be there next year between 17-19 October, 2023.
