Once again, Westech Solar had the pleasure of attending Solar and Storage Live held at NEC Birmingham, October 17th to 19th 2023, giving a warm welcome to all the attendees and professionals in the sector who visited us at our stand.
Solar and Storage Live is the UK largest solar energy exhibition, which has grown tremendously with an estimated 30,000 visitors and over 450 exhibitors at this year’s event.
The highlight of our booth this year was our unique Sandtoft in-roof solar panel, developed in partnership with the global market-leading roof tile manufacturer Wienerberger, including our demo roofs that allowed us to demonstrate to visitors how fast and easy the system is to install compared to conventional ‘in-roof’ solutions as well as how it seamlessly integrates to the roof with very few components, creating a tiled effect that blends with the roof like no other system on the market.
As Perlight Solar official UK & EU representative, we took the opportunity to showcase some of our most popular on-roof PV modules: the truly all-black Delta 425W and new Compact Delta 300W, as well as the forthcoming NTA 435W that utilizes HJT cell technology, due for UK release in early in 2024.

We were also joined by our premier technology partners on the stand. Tigo Energy, Solax Power and Project EV.
Project EV chose this SSL23 to unveil their new APEX EV charger on the stand. A greatly refined version of the ever-popular 7kW offering, The APEX continues to include a host of features in a sleeker, smaller format and now has a changeable face plate available in six different colours.
Westech Solar has been a long-standing exhibitor at SSL throughout the years, which has become the major industry trade show within the UK solar industry, so it is a special pride for us to witness the continued growth and success of the event.
